The Seattle-based indie rock band joins forces with the WVSO for an unforgettable night. Ivan & Alyosha create a sound that’s distinctly Californian, with acoustic instrumentation and bright vocal harmonies that evoke the West Coast’s summary, Southern locales.

The Nutcracker

This community production features the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra, performers throughout the Valley, and the Fabulous Feet Academy of Ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky’s magical score, the ballet comes to life with stunning set designs and period costumes. The Nutcracker will transport audiences of all ages into a winter wonderland that has become a holiday tradition not to be missed. Often sold out, we recommend purchasing tickets well in advance.

Con Animé

Philharmonia Fantastique is a 25-minute concerto for orchestra & animated film that follows a magical Sprite on a musical journey through the instruments of the orchestra. By the film’s end, the families of the orchestra overcome their differences to demonstrate “unity from diversity” in a spectacular finale.

One of the most beloved Broadway musicals of all time is West Side Story, whose songs are familiar even to many of the most casual fans of the genre: “Maria,” “Somewhere,” America,” “Something’s Coming,” Tonight,” “I Feel Pretty.” The music was written by the great Leonard Bernstein with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
